John C. Hayes, M.D.
Psychiatrist
Dr. Hayes holds a medical degree from the University of South Alabama (1983), and he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology from Birmingham Southern College (1979). He was also inducted as an honorary commander of the 33rd Fighter Wing, Eglin Air Force Base, in 2013. Dr. Hayes holds certification with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), making him uniquely qualified to handle co-occurring disorders. He has held multiple medical director positions and most recently was medical director of the IOP and PHP programs at West Florida Behavioral Health and West Florida Psychiatric Pavilion. Dr. Hayes envisions his role as helping his patients see their lives from a new perspective, transforming discomfort into growth.
